About Me
This journal is dedicated to myself. I wouldn't say it is purely about my tourist experience or historical sites in Italy, Hungary, or about Europe in general. I sometimes write very random things but these are just my personal thoughts. I like talking to myself through writing but I know this one would be viewed by people other than myself so I added on more elements of communication. Still many contents may not make sense for many readers. But I believe the people with shared experience would be able to understand most of it. And whoever happens to read it, there are still parts about the General topic that are not inside jokes. I hope you enjoy.
A little bit introduction on how I write my journals. Since it is a online journal, Internet access is a must for the writing. In Italy, my normal place of writing is the couch in my old apartment on the ground floor of Germanico, now the second armchair by the window on the second floor of Germanico. But since I have been traveling around quite a bit, ideally I love writing by in cafes/bars with amazing views. Or if there is restrictions on the locations, I am fine crawling in bed writing. Some examples of places: a bar by the beach in Monterosso, a bar on the top of the cliff in Riomaggiore, a cafe in Expo, a bar by the port on Capris Island, bed in a hostel in Milan, bed in a hostel in Naples, a bed at a friend's in Bologna. You may have noticed from the list that I don't write done things at the exact sites I visit. I reflect normally at the end of the day. It is because I don't want to carry this idea that I'm consciously recording all of the things I have seen. I would like the reflection and journals to be natural. I know the reality can be changed a little bit since I write it from my memory, and I will miss many things, but that's how I remember the thing, so in the idealism point of view, that's the reality for me. Anyway, overall, I'm writing down what I believe and what I find meaningful. It is not a complete story of my trips nor there is a consistent theme. It's just a place where I use my not-elaborated casual writing to paint down what I still remember. Again, I hope you enjoy the writing about my the past three months of stay in Rome, and new adventures in East Europe.
